We have the privilege to baby sit Natalie for the whole Saturday as Andrew and Angie were attending their sister's wedding. It was a challenging task for us as haven't had any experience to take care of such a small toddler. But we are so eager to learn something new. Feeding, put her to sleep, cleaning up, changing nappies (especially when I have to clean up her poo poo) is never an easy task! I realised kids like her age (she is around 14 months) takes really long to finish their meal, there's where I really have to practice my patience. Changing nappies is not hard, but when I have to clean up her poo poo, oh well, that is something I don't think I can handle as I can't even bear to clean up my own toilet! Somehow, there's a love and strength inside me that cause me to be able to do so without feeling sick! Sleeping time is another challenge for me. When the time is up for her to sleep but she is still unwilling to go to bed and keep crying when we put her on her bed, what shall we do? I was a bit confuse at first but God gives us the wisdom to be able to handle this situation. We have to leave her in her room for max 15 min. If she still crying we will have to pick her up if not we will "past the test"! Indeed this help! She fall asleep after 10 min!

Whole day of staying in the living room , only able to move around to attend to Natalie's need and eat my lunch, I suddenly felt so tired. Is all the full time mum will feel so tired by taking care of their child non stop for the whole day? They sleep but we have to use the time to clean up and do our stuffs, when they awake and playing, we have to always be there to keep an eye on her, that is exhausted to me! And Selwyn can't help much! He fall asleep most of the time and don't even know how to dress the kid up even with my help! That's really make me even more tired! Yes...I am a bit disappointed with him, but well I guess I can't put too high expectation on him - a guy that don't have any experience with kids.

I am glad that the day is over! Happy to see her parents came back. It is time for us to go back to our "life". Before we left Angie told us that she is 2 months pregnant! That is a good news! I was fine when she told me. I thought well Ida, you have done a good job of able to overcome this situation. However, when I step out from the house, suddenly my mood just changed! Grief and anger just full my whole head. No, I am not yet overcome it! With this grief and the disappointment with Selwyn, that really makes me feel so moody and frustrated with everything. To be frank I hate being like that, but it is so hard to overcome it! Lord, You said that Your grace is sufficient for me, and Your strength is made perfect when I am weak. Help me Lord to have a breakthrough in this area and continue to trust in You that in Your time, Your promise will come true!
