Today I received a call from daddy in the evening. Even before he started to tell me what happen, from his tone I sort of figure out what will be the news. "Popo" has went back to the Lord this morning. Even though we all are preparing for this to happen since she was bed laided but when it really happened, it is very painful. We know that she is in a better place now with the Lord, the place without suffering but with only happiness and joy. She don't have to suffer the pain everyday now. But for all of us who is still here, we feel the lost of our loved one.
She is a very loving woman, from my memory, she is always full of smile and I love her prayer. She always full of thanksgiving and always say blessing to us whenver she prayed. From a traditional buddist to a devoted Christian lady, her life is indeed a living testimony to the people around her. The sad thing for us is daddy mummy don't allow us to come back, mainly because Selwyn just launched his visa. To leave the country while the visa is processing is another complicated procedure. We feel so sad that we are not able to even pay her the last respect, not to say taking care of her when she was sick. I guess this is the pain that all the people that move to overseas will experience when there are emergency happened to the family back home.
Life is short. Even though "popo" leave till over 85 years old but life is still short as compare to eternity. It reminds me that life is more than just a circle - born, grow up, work, formed a family, grow old and wait to die. Isn't it very scary if life is just a circle like this? No, it is more than that. If there is no eternity, no heaven, then popo's passed away will be a forever farewell for us. But we know it is not. It is just a temporary seperation. Even popo know that this is not a scary thing, she has a hope, a hope for eternity in heaven and she saw the beauty of heaven even before the Lord take her away. This is the fear that I have overcome as well since I accepted the Lord.
Popo, so long. We love you and we will miss you dearly. Till we see you again. We know you are enjoying your life with the Lord now. We will continue to walk a good race in this world like you, so that we will be able to be with the Lord for eternity.
